Five Fun Instagram Pages To Follow!

It may not be a “Follow Back Friday”, but what about a “Social Media Monday”? Does that work?

It's a Monday and it's the perfect day to give you reasons to take a break from working and scroll on Instagram. We all have our favourite accounts to follow and we decided to share some of our favourites with you! We'll start local and work our way out to some of the popular ones out there that you might enjoy. Here are five you can start following right away.

Ryder, JC and Friends

Kalie has been working with us for a long time and she also volunteers as the Chair of the Portage Animal Welfare Society. In her downtime (as much as she gets, anyway..) she updates an Instagram page for Jaycee the cat, Cinder the mini-Rex bunny, Ryder the lab and more. (Steve and Oreo, I'm looking at you!) She is getting close to 100 followers. Help her get there!

Theo the Corgi

If you head to the Kenny's K9 page, you can see all of the accounts we are following. Have you heard of Theo the Corgi? Theo just turned one year old in February and has been charming his followers ever since! From Winnipeg, Theo is approaching 1,000 followers. Such a super cutie. There are categories for all sorts of videos so you pick what you want to see.

A Golden Named Kevin

I first met Kevin on Facebook. He would appear in many videos wearing his favourite hats and going on play dates with his friends. He always looks so stylish and so happy and if you ever need a pick-me-up, go to his page. You have to check out how they celebrated his second birthday last month. So. Much. Fun. (Nobody show this channel to Kalie. It'll give her more ideas of outfits for Ryder to wear!)

Charlie The Golden

I've been following Charlie (and the rest of his family) for a while. The videos showing Charlie communicating with his “momma” always put a smile on my face. Heckin' Mondays, indeed. Feel free to follow the whole family. Daisy, Buddy and Sassy are also worth watching. The whole family is so entertaining.

I Am Bunny

Last, but not least, is Bunny. We talk about how Charlie talks, but you need to check this out. Bunny has been trained to communicate by pressing buttons. If you haven't heard about this, give it a look before you judge too much. It is sooo fascinating. There is one particular video that pulls at your heart strings. Bunny saying 'I love you'? D'awwwww! I know there are some dog lovers in Manitoba who have these buttons. Have you had any success? I must hear all about it!
