A Look Back at the Blog

It's a very busy time at Kenny's K9 as we tackle some big projects in business and in our personal lives. As a result, we will be taking a break from the blog. For our final edition, we are looking back at some of our favourites over the last year. Feel free to give them a look over. We had a lot of fun creating them!

DOG OWNERSHIP: FIFTY YEARS LATER!

Back in January, we sat down with Kennedy's Grandpa and Grandma Rogers to discuss how much has changed over the last five decades. For example, their dogs ate mostly table scraps and fresh milk off the farm rather than buying a bag of dog food. The biggest shocker? NO SPA DAYS! Can you imagine? Read the original blog here!

WHAT'S YOUR HOROSCOPE FOR TODAY?

One of our favourite blogs by far had to do with studying the signs when it comes to our furry friends. Need a dog to run politically? Go to a Leo. Have a picky pet? Probably a Virgo. Need someone loyal who will never leave your side? Scorpio. And if you have a dog that is always dreaming about human food and never gives up asking and asking and asking... well, it's probably my dog, I mean, a Capricorn. Go see where your pup fits here!

BLACKOUT!!

It was a story told by Rain, one of our daycare dogs. There was a day when the power went out and everything went dark. We heard from Rue, Bruce, Willow and many more. The photos of that day are the stuff of legend. Oh, the photos for the horoscopes were great, too. Here is the BLACKOUT post!

A VALENTINE'S DAY POEM FOR OUR FURRY FRIENDS...

I read recently that most adults have written a poem in school but never do again once they go out into the real world. On a February morn in 2021, that changed... read it here. I rhymed walk with hawk and harm with alarm. Really top of the line stuff.

KENNY AND KALIE'S FUR FAMILIES

This could be the most popular blogs we posted this year. Kennedy shared her fur family story with Nevaeh and Traeh (if you don't understand their names, read 'em backwards) and of course, her husband Eric. The next post was all about Kalie's, and we got to learn about Ryder, JC, Cinder, Steve and Oreo. Read about Kennedy's here and Kalie's here. HEADING INTO YEAR 4

Finally, in April, we looked ahead to the future. At that time, we didn't know what we knew now – that there would be so many more challenges and changes. As we move forward, we're happy with everything we've accomplished and we cannot wait to see what will happen now. You can read this blog here.
