2020 was without a doubt a memorable year!

We thought it would be fun to go back twelve months and reflect on everything that happened.

JANUARY:

We started off the month with some of our successful courses such as Basic Life Skills. This included polite greetings, loose leash walking, waiting at the door, coming when called, sharing toys and treats – you know, the fun stuff! We also started our FUN FACT FRIDAYS. Is that something you'd like to see return in 2021?

Oh, and we discovered TikTok...

FEBRUARY:

It technically started at the very end of January, but the idea took off in February! We added the E-Gift Card which allowed you to buy a nice gift for a special someone! (We had NO idea just how necessary these would be...)

MARCH:

Right before the pandemic shut everything down for a while, we launched our K9 First Aid Course which helped provide you with the training you need to handle an emergency with confidence. We hope to bring these back soon!

While we were closed, Kennedy and Nevaeh went around spreading smiles!

APRIL:

Although we were closed, we celebrated three years on April 1st. You can read about that experience in a previous blog here! (It was also our first blog!)

We also opened our online store! Check it out here!

This is when we debuted our COVID Care Cases, which went over very well. We then re-opened on the 15th.

MAY:

As we continued adding more to our boutique, one of the most popular items we added was the custom chalked signs from Chalked out of Austin! We also began the hunt for a new employee to greet our great customers. Would we find that person?!

JUNE:

Yes, yes we would! McKenzie would join our team in early June and has been such a great help keeping us all organized! We're happy to have her while she's off from school. We also had volunteers like Gaby helping during the summer.

Later in the month, we participated in the North Norfolk Dog Park Walking Poker Derby. Thank you to everyone who is supporting the project. I cannot wait until it's done!

JULY:

We are so proud of Kalie! In July of 2020, she was named the Chairperson for the Portage Animal Welfare Society -- better known as PAWS. Read all about it here!

Congrats to Kalie for her new position with PAWS!

AUGUST:

We continued adding more to our boutique including announcing our face mask and dog bandana bundle. We had to do it!

This wasn’t the only time they matched this year. ;)

SEPTEMBER:

This was a lot of fun. On September 5th, we hosted our own Frisbee Workshop! We love watching those dogs get some air.

OCTOBER & NOVEMBER:

In April, we created the K9 COVID Care Cases. You wanted more and so we created the Kenny's Pack Boxes! We ended up selling them out so fast so don't be surprised to see them again soon.

DECEMBER:

This year, we spent a lot of time reconnecting with you on a personal basis and we want to keep that going into 2021. We love seeing all of you (and your dogs!) at the shop and we hope we can see you again in the new year.
